FishX: Learn Sustainable Fishing
A hands-on experience to learn about sustainable fishing, learn how to fish using a rod and reel, and try their hand at catching a fish! Fishing lesson is suitable for children, students, families, corporate team bonding activities
Join us for a morning to enjoy our marine biodiversity responsibly, and encounter weird and wonderful species of fish!
Who is this for?
Suitable for all ages (6 years old and up, children MUST be accompanied by paying adults)
Our friendly guides will teach you the basics on how to use the fishing rod and reel, and how to catch your very first fish! No experience is required.
Run down
First we start off with an orientation and safety briefing, and then go through some instructions on how to use the fishing gear. Then, it's time to fish!

The fish you catch will be identified and documented. Selected specimens may even be preserved for DNA processing at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, so we do our part for marine science and conservation.
Take some fun photos and enjoy a lively morning at Bedok Jetty!
